In affiliation with the Tibetan Buddhist Practices Group, Geshe Thupten Dorjee teaches and leads meditation each Sunday morning from 11:00 am to approximately 12:30 pm. Teachings are held in the the Mojo Hot Yoga Studio in Fayetteville at 908 Rolling Hills Drive, Suite 8 in Fayetteville. Cushions are available; however, chairs are limited. If you prefer to sit in a chair, please consider bringing your own.
Directions to new meditation location at Mojo Hot Yoga Studio: If you are coming from Rogers on I-540 south, take the first Fayetteville exit onto Hwy. 71B (College Ave). Stay south/right on Hwy. 71B (away from the Mall). Once on Hwy. 71B south, turn left at the second traffic light (just past Hobby Lobby) onto Rolling Hills Drive. The yoga studio is on the left. If you are coming from Fayetteville, go north on Hwy. 71B (College Ave.) Take a right at the traffic light at Fiesta Square. Mojo Hot Yoga Studio is on the left…in the building next to Hancock Fabrics.

The Rime Buddhist Center is a non-sectarian Tibetan Buddhist center located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. We are located in a beautiful 7,000 sq. foot, 100-year-old church, that can accommodate up to 250 people. On the second floor is a residential retreat center with twelve beds, divided into a men's and a women's dorm. The Rime Center also has a gift shop and bookstore that carries a variety of Dharma books and practice items.

Fayetteville Soto Zen Center meets at
Arkansas Yoga Center located at
1949 N. Green Acres Roadin Fayetteville. Weekly meetings are held Mondays from 7:30 pm sharp to 9:00 pm. The practice of Zen involves focusing the mind on nothing while being totally aware during meditation (zazen). Participants sit zazen facing the wall for 30 minutes, do a brief period of walking meditation, and go back to sitting for another 20 minutes. Located in Fayetteville, near the University campus. The Center was founded in 1986 and is an affiliate of the Kwan Um School (
http://www.kwanumzen.org) of Zen. It offers Zen practice twice weekly: morning practice on Sundays at 9 and evening practice on Wednesdays at 5:30. Both include chanting and sitting (and sometimes walking) meditation, followed by a Dharma talk or reading and an opportunity for questions or discussion. An ecumenical group offering Buddhist meditation and readings from diverse sources. Currently led by Geoff Oelsner, Leslie Oelsner, Erica Estes-Beard, Scott Mashburn, Jon Medders, and Joshua Newman. Meetings include a 20 minute and a 10 minute meditation complete with instruction and discussion. Our purpose is to support participants' spiritual development. All experience levels are welcome. Free of charge and open to all.
The group meets from from 7:30 - 8:30 pm pm every Thursday in the downstairs room at the Arkansas Yoga Centerlocated at 1949 N. Green Acres Road in Fayetteville.

Joy Fox's center offers monthly "Dharma Days" with guided instruction in Vipassana meditation techniques of walking and sitting, metta, "sweeping" the body with detailed awareness, and a group discussion of consciousness in daily life. Longer meditation retreats with other teachers are occasionally available, and private silent retreats with guidance can also be arranged for individuals.
