The Tibetan Cultural Institute of Arkansas is pleased to announce the construction of a meditation center and retreat area near Crosses, Arkansas. The land for this project was donated by long-time sangha and TCIA member, Georgia Lance, while the funding for the project is being offered by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

It is difficult to express adequately our gratitude for the generosity exemplified by these two wonderful individuals. Suffice it to say that many people will benefit from their compassion and benevolence, and it is our sincere hope that this center will further develop the teachings of nonviolence, compassion, and the Dharma that are so important to establishing peace in our world and that have brought us, under Geshe Dorjee’s tutelage, to this critical point.
Jay Barrow, one of Geshe’s students from the Fairhope Tibetan Society in Alabama, is serving as the project coordinator and construction foreman. We are indeed fortunate to have the leadership of someone of Jay’s experience in all phases of building and construction as we undertake to fulfill yet another dream that many of us in the Institute have cultivated for years!
Members of our organization will want to help or donate in any way possible.
To target your donation to the construction of our retreat center, add “Land of Infinite Bliss Retreat Center” to the memo field of your check, and mail to
